The general terms of sale are provided for the purpose of enabling buyers to place an order. By placing an order the buyer acknowledges his/ her complete acceptance, without exception, of the general sales conditions.
CORONAVIRUS
Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, we are offering all current bookings to be rearranged for a future date/time or exchanged for a voucher to the same value of the booking. The exchanged voucher will not have an expiry date.
1 – PRICES
1.1- The prices that are listed by Escape include up to 60 minutes play of our game and are shown in pounds stirling including all taxes.
1.2- All other services that are not included in the initial reservation will be billed in addition.
1.3- Escape reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Services will be billed according to the rates in effect at the moment the order is placed.
2 – RESERVATIONS
2.1- Availability
All reservations are processed in real time and are subject to availability. The sale will not be considered final until receipt of a confirmation email from Escape with the order number. The buyer’s bank account will immediately be debited for the amount of services booked.
2.2- Exchange / Cancelations
Escape Rooms are a live event therefore bookings cannot be refunded but they can be rearranged for a future date.
2.3- Confidentiality
By purchasing buyer certifies that Escape games, components, and puzzles are to be regarded as confidential. Any full or partial disclosure or publication to any third party violates City Entertainment Ltd business interests.
3 – METHODS OF PAYMENT
Escape will accept payment by credit/debit card and PayPal.
4 – SECURITY OF PAYMENT AND PERSONAL DATA
4.1- Security of payment
Escape has entrusted its payment system to a specialist in online payment security. We do not keep any customer credit card information on our database.
4.2- Personal data
By booking through City Entertainment Ltd, you consent to the use of those items of your personal data which are necessary to ensure the proper processing of orders. Escape undertakes to only use this database for information purposes and commercial offers for Escape Games, and not to divulge these data to third parties except upon request by a judicial authority or other administrative authority empowered by law to request the communication of this information.
All data is handled with the greatest degree of care and discretion.
4.3- Only person(s) of at least 16 years of age are permitted to book an Escape Room Game.
5 – ELECTRONIC BOOKING
5.1- Each booking has a unique order number which permits the access to our game.
5.2- The buyer will receive by email a booking confirmation that includes, order number, the exact date, and time of this reservation.

6.1- All children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a person aged 16 years +.
6.2- You have expressly agreed to participate to play Escape Room Games at your sole risk.
6.3- Some escape rooms contain live actors as part of the experience and these may be in the form of jumpscares. If you have any health conditions or concerns about this, please contact us and we will advise.
6.4- You shall be solely responsible and accountable for your personal safety and state of health while you participate in Escape Room Games. Please contact us prior to booking if you wish to discuss any health concerns.
6.5- Regretfully some Escape Room sites do not have wheelchair access due to the nature of the building, if you have any questions about questions about disability access please contact us prior to booking.
6.6- City Entertainment Ltd recommend that teams arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the game.
6.7- City Entertainment Ltd will accommodate for lateness where possible however reserves the right to cancel the booking 15 minutes after the booking time slot.
6.8- Food and Drink (except bottled water) may not be taken into the Game Rooms.
6.9- You are recommended to wear suitable footwear and clothing; no specialist clothing or equipment is required.
6.10- You shall not enter the site under the influence of alcohol or drugs. City Entertainment Ltd reserves the right to refuse your entry to the site.
6.11- City Entertainment Ltd reserves the right to charge the guests for any damage which is intentional or caused by mis-use of items.
6.12- City Entertainment Ltd does its utmost to offer you a game room that lives up to your expectations. However, the order, arrangement and casting of the game remain at the discretion of City Entertainment Ltd and no complaints will be accepted in the case of a modification to the game.
6.13- It is strictly prohibited to take pictures, film or to record all or part of the game. Do not share any of the solutions or processes that are involved in the game.
6.14- City Entertainment Ltd declines all responsibility for any damages relating to objects belonging to customers. Please make use of the lockers provided. All items left in the locker are done so at your own risk.
6.15- CCTV is used to monitor the game. By participating in an Escape Room Game you consent to the use of CCTV in the game. Logs are held for no more than 30 days.
6.16- City Entertainment Ltd does not tolerate any kind of harassment towards its employees and reserves the right to remove you from the premises without compensation.
7 - GIFT VOUCHERS
7.1- Gift Vouchers purchased via our website will just be emailed to the booking email address. If you wish to have a physical voucher, please contact us.
7.2- Gift Vouchers are one use only. If you do not use the full amount on your gift voucher, you will lose the remainding balance.
